Ras Abu Galum camel dive safari (1 day, 2 dives)
A day trip north from the Blue Hole into the Ras Abu Galum protected area with Desert Divers. There is no road, so you travel along the coastal path with Bedouin camels, which is about a 1.5-hour walk. You make two guided shore dives on the protectorate's reefs. Full equipment, meals and drinking water are included. Protected-area fees are extra: Desert Divers lists a USD 40 Ras Abu Galum camp and park fee. For certified divers only. A 2-day/4-dive version that adds an overnight in Bedouin huts costs EUR 275.
