Desert day + Mount Sinai sunrise & St Catherine (1.5 days)

A desert day out of Dahab followed by the night ascent of Mount Sinai (Jebel Musa, 2,285 m) to watch sunrise from the summit, then a visit to St Catherine's Monastery at its foot. Meals are included. St Catherine museum entry is extra (Desert Divers lists 100 EGP; check the current fee). The summit is cold before dawn even in October, so bring warm layers and a head torch. A Bedouin guide is mandatory on the mountain. The monastery opens roughly 09:00–11:30 and closes on Fridays, Sundays and Greek Orthodox holidays. Carry your passport for checkpoints. The trip runs with at least 3–4 people.
