Jeep desert day: Wadi Arada, Safra dune & Double Canyon

A jeep day into the sandstone interior with a local Bedouin guide. You have breakfast with a Bedouin family in Wadi Arada, drive through Wadi Safra to the Safra dune and the Bir Safra well, scramble on Jebel Makhroum, and stop for tea at the Nawamis ancient stone burial mounds. After lunch cooked Bedouin style, you hike and scramble through the Double Canyon for about 1.5 hours. It leaves Dahab at 07:00, after a briefing at 17:00 the day before, and gets back around 17:00. At least 3 people are needed to guarantee the trip, and solo travellers are added to groups. Wear closed shoes. You can add Mount Sinai and St Catherine.
